Your Own Interests
Interest Survey
An apprasial of your interests will tell you what jobs you will enjoy.
Defining your interests will enable you to start the process of selecting among your many choices and opportunities. Take the time now to talk to people who are actually working at the jobs your interests suggest. Are these people happy in their work? Investigate such factors as income, advancement, flexibility, independence, travel, health coverage, and authority.
Don’t waste years of apprenticeship or college by making the wrong decision now.
We believe that, with guidance from a trained counselor, you yourself are better able to relate your interests to a possible career or occupation than anyone else, better than the usual assessment built on scales that follow some predetermined and arbitrary formula.
By the time you reach your sophomore year, you will have developed many interests, including some that may suggest a life-time occupation.
