Education & Degrees
I was originally trained in clinical psychology but also worked in a university counseling center helping college students find their career path. With a Ph.D. in psychology, a member of the American Psychological Association since 1987 and a member of the Utah Psychological Association since 1992, I am well trained to assist you in your journey. I served as Utah Psychological Association President from 2007-2008.
Experience
As one of the first Highlands trained affiliates, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to helping you find your path. I have worked with several hundred individuals using the Highlands program since 1994.
Focus
I enjoy helping adults discover their true potential, learn about optimal career fit and transform their lives. Similarly I gain satisfaction from helping a high school or college student understand preferred career directions and choose a path that can lead to success and happiness. I have also helped individuals contemplating retirement find a meaningful path for their lives. It brings me great joy to help facilitate "bringing out the best" in another person´s life.
Strengths
As a psychologist, I am trained in the administration and interpretation of many psychological assessments and have given over 5000 assessments during my career. I am interested in each person I work with and use a sensitive and caring approach to helping you match yourself to a career and life direction.
